I'm currently using two 16340 batteries for my laser. What kind of power difference would I see if I threw in one 18650 battery? Would I be able to safely look at it for short periods of time (a few seconds) without protective eyewear? M140 diode 1.25A driver (non boost drive) 3E glass lense

Thanks for the help everybody, but the dot is still present. I tried alcohol, a few microfiber clothes, and an air compressor. Although the dot does look a bit better, I'm just going to leave it be for now. If I tinker with it any further I fear that I may accidentally damage the laser instead...

I did blow on it to no avail, and yes the first photo is shopped because my camera cannot pick up the black dot with the lens on. What's the best way to clean the diode window without introducing more dust?
