    Phoebus, I have torn down several laptop batteries and some have even 10 cells in them. Even in a old battery that has failed, after testing the cells and recharging them usually only one or two cells are bad and the rest function at full capacity.

    Hazer, I built a M-140 from DTR and a 1.5 amp host kit from Survival. As tested on my Laserbee it is 1.48 Mw. My only wish is that the beam divergence was tighter. It is not bad but I wish it was smaller. My 500Mw 638nm from DTR, and a 1.5 amp host C-6 from survival is good for 750Mw...
