    The Dominator has landed.

Thanks Kot it's a pleasure working with you ;) The copper bars I have to order for your sinks are getting longer and longer :eg: Oh yes copper is a bitch to machine even with a CNC lathe :( It was actually Blords idea not drilling the hole bore in 12mm the designs keeps getting better and...

In Stock : 3-3.5Watt 445nm Copper Dominator, 2x26650 blue laser.

Re: Sold: 3+Watt Copper Dominator, 2x26650 blue laser. 3581mW peak ?!!! wtf best result I've seen so far enjoy your copper dominator ;)

M140 diode broken ? or wrong driving method ?

The current matters if you drive the diode at 5,5V with a constant current source like a driver at let's say at 1,8A the driver will automatically adjust the forward voltage to exactly the value the diode needs at that current you could even put something like 7V on it doesn't matter on a...

Question on 445nm 9mm diode lifecycle?

@2,1A plenty, I guess (just guessing) probably 2000 hours or more. ;)

M140 diode broken ? or wrong driving method ?

Forward Voltage should be at least 4,6V-4,8V for the M140 regardless the current ;)

Driver for 100mw Rated 532nm Module

mAh is the capacity of a cell and mA(milliAmpere) is an unit for current flow

Driver for 100mw Rated 532nm Module

Don't confuse mA with mAh ;) Depends on what input voltage you're planning to use (1 or 2 cells PSU etc.) If you want an cheap but reliable driver I'd use a linear one (Lm317 etc.)

Driver for 100mw Rated 532nm Module

Usually the 50mW modules take 300-400mA and the 100mW's 600-700mA

    Power of M140 at 1.7amp ?

My Ophir 20c Head is underway and I should get it the next few days ;) I showed the current on my DMM in every Build I did !!?

    Power of M140 at 1.7amp ?

A freak is super rare expect something around 1,7-2,0W

    Lazerer 405mn >500mW laser

I do not suggest you to buy the 500mW version ! It's way over driven for that tiny heatsink ! Mine died after 4 Hours of use -.- You'd have to live with an duty cycle of 30s on MAX !! I also did an review of this exact laser look at my sig !

5W IR from O-Like: is it legit?

With an video camera you can actually see the beam itself from an IR laser But I think 5W of IR is pretty dangerous to play with even for pros ! And it will not burn so well as you might imagine cause no way they are TEM00 my 800mW 405nm burns far better than my 2500mW 445nm single mode...

Blord COPPER DOMINATOR! One laser to rule them ALL!

Great laser I envy you ;) hope I can finish mine soon :P I suggest you to leave the retainer ring screwed on tight ! The heavy copper sink could fall out :)

In Stock : 3-3.5Watt 445nm Copper Dominator, 2x26650 blue laser.

Re: For sale: 3+Watt Copper Dominator, 2x26650 blue laser. Well ... my glass ball tells me there will be more copper dominators in the future so why not leave the thread open ;)

In Stock : 3-3.5Watt 445nm Copper Dominator, 2x26650 blue laser.

Re: For sale: 3+Watt Copper Dominator, 2x26650 blue laser. 398,9g to be exact ;) Also believe me the Price is already really tight Blord is not making much profit with this ! Those are CNC made sinks with the highest precision you can get and CNC work is not cheap ! Also Copper prices are...

I can help you with the block and also with any CNC work just PM me ;)

    First Build: 2.5w Handheld

I love efficient diodes :) The best M140 I've seen was doing 2,5W @1,9A ;) Copper just takes the heat faster away from the diode into the sink but a small heatsink stays a small heatsink copper or not ... I still suggest 30sec on max an 9mm @2,1A is pretty meany :D
  18. Th3dArKn3o

    DTR M140 very impressive 2.5W

My M140 doing also 2,5W peak @1,9A ;) pretty rare although ! They doin pretty well at these currents had mine on for at least 30 Hours without degrading !

    ~800mW Powerful 405nm Custom Build

Thank you for the good respond always good to hear that ;) And I love your shop Jordan keep up the good work ;) I actually do ;) I have a few in production for members here already :) Yes Blord the copper heatsink will be awesome :) PM sent The divergence is awesome single mode of course...

    ~800mW Powerful 405nm Custom Build

Thanks ;) I always try to orient my design on finned cpu heatsinks such designs have more benefits then a massive solid one ... I actually wanted to make this host/heatsink of pure Copper :D But Copper is expensive like hell :P
