    1Watt 532nm Ultra Compact Laser Cube - 18mm(L) x22mm(W) x 11mm(T)

Just so you guys know, I contacted Lasever regarding a few of the lasers I am interested in... specifically their new 2W 532nm laser, and their 4W, 5W and 6W (small divergence) 445nm lasers. This is their reply and quote: An interesting note... their "small divergence" 445nm lasers have a...

    3W 445 + 1W 532=white WHY?

Ahhh, didn't even notice his posts were so old. Thanks for the heads up. :)

    3W 445 + 1W 532=white WHY?

I have a question about your build... what mixture of 445nm and 532nm are you using to get your Cyan and light green color? Is the 3W 445nm + 1W 532nm your Cyan build? And how would I modify it for the green? Maybe go 1W 445nm +1W 532nm? Can't wait to start with this one.

    3W 445 + 1W 532=white WHY?

I love the picture of your dog in the background. :) I'm a big dog fan. I also love the 514nm green myself. I think I will play around with blues and greens and see what color combinations I can come up with. I love cyan and the light green of the argons.

589nm Yellow Laser build (Beam Combining)

I am going to purchase a tripod tomorrow and work on the adjustments on my camera to see if I can make it represent colors a little more accurately. I know the tripod will help with the stability, and therefore clarity, of the pictures. More to follow. :)

    3W 445 + 1W 532=white WHY?

This looks amazing! I love the cyan color beam. I think Cyan is my favorite color. Currently I'm working on a Yellow beam (Red/Green combined beam) laser. Once I finish with that I will work on the Cyan color. I really like yours! Good job.

589nm Yellow Laser build (Beam Combining)

I think that is the least expensive tripod I have ever seen. :) Thanks for the link and the compliments on my fuzzy pictures.

589nm Yellow Laser build (Beam Combining)

Okay everyone, I received my "professional" beam combiner in the mail today and have a taken a few photos. Unfortunately, several of the photos were a bit blurry and so I think I will need to get a small tripod. Laser beams tend to turn out nicer looking when the shutter speed is a little...

589nm Yellow Laser build (Beam Combining)

Also, I want to say thanks for all the replies. This is my first time participating on a forum for lasers like this. I have been a long-time fan of Sam's Laser FAQ. Not sure if you guys remember the laser plans found in SciAm, but I started building homemade lasers in 1986 (yikes, I was...

589nm Yellow Laser build (Beam Combining)

I will definitely be using a beam expander to make the beams overlap better. You can even see in some of the pictures that the green beam is riding right down the middle of the red and is somewhat yellow-orange surrounded by the red. @ZRaffleTicket The 650nm 1W beam is pretty much a standard...

589nm Yellow Laser build (Beam Combining)

Yes, Meatball, you are correct. I should have realized that posting 589nm on this board would meet with criticism, when in reality I am just combining 532 and 650. For all those who thought I literally meant 589nm, I understand that I am combining 532nm with 650nm and that I will be "tuning"...

589nm Yellow Laser build (Beam Combining)

Thanks! I should have my "professional" beam combiner this week and hopefully my better 532nm laser as well.

589nm Yellow Laser build (Beam Combining)

Greetings all... I am attempting to build a 589nm "semi" frequency selectable (by changing the amount of 532nm light) laser. Pictures are at the link provided below. Currently this build uses a 1W 650nm red laser and a 120mw 532nm green laser. The beams are combined using a 50/50...

    589nm CNI-PGL-III-A "Peak 130mW"

You are not the only one who would kill to see that. The ultra powerful Guide Star Lasers are simply amazing. That is actually the inspiration of my next project to build a "fairly" powerful RGY laser. I have a 1W 650nm that I will beam combine to about 250-300mw 532nm for approximately...
