    Chinese new year

I live in Russia and I confirm that we have holidays here between 31 Dec and 10 Jan (exactly 10 days). Everybody works hard here till the 31 of Dec and everybody returns to work on the 11th Jan. Personally I hate such a long holidays here because my life and work gets stuck. The situation in...

    Constant current step-down driver ?

When constant current is provided, you can always use the same driver for any LD of similar type/wavelength. I only need a driver for 808nm LDs which usually have 1.8-2.2V voltage range. I do not demand the same driver to work with any other LDs.

    Constant current step-down driver ?

While there may be a lot of drivers available, I haven't found one that fits my specs. The proposed drivers for LEDs do not provide adjustable current. They do not meet my Input voltage criteria (I want to use non-rechargeables as well). I want to build efficient lasers with adjustable power. I...

    Constant current step-down driver ?

Micro Flex Drive V5 Manual: For powering high current (>500mA) 1.8V diodes, a series shottky rectifier is required so that the output voltage is 2.2V or greater. This is not suitable for my 808nm diodes which usually have voltage below 2.2V at high currents. It doesn't seem to be a good idea to...

    Constant current step-down driver ?

I need a constant current driver to power different LDs from different batteries. Input voltage: 2.8-4.2 V (wider is better) Output voltage: 0-2.2 V (may be not adjustable) Output current: 0-1 A adjustable (0-2 A is better) It should be a highly efficient switching driver with small form...

My 532nm DPSS module - home built from scratch !

Output power was about 150 mW, may be higher, certainly higher than WL Nexus 95mW. I already have several discrete crystals. But I would need to build a new module to be able to align them. I would need a lot of time to be able to do that. So my first choice was to use an MCA. MCAs from cheap...

Hello, my laser project and a question

Hello everyone, I already started a thread about my laser project that introduces me. My 532nm DPSS module - home built from scratch ! I just can't find a way to upload an avatar to my profile. How can I do it?

My 532nm DPSS module - home built from scratch !

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forums. Let me introduce myself with my DPSS laser project. I built this project in 2007 after reading the famous Sam's laser FAQ. Bottom line: In 2006 powerful laser pointers were very costly with few suppliers on the market. I purchased a Wicked Lasers Nexus...
