Yep, charge them one at a time. One battery and the red light comes on until fully charged. Then charge the second one. Fully charged batteries made a HUGE difference on my laser.

I do have a question though. The add says that it's a focusable blue laser but the lens has no glass in it, how can that be focusable? I have sent an email via the contact us link but thought I would ask here too. I got the other 4 lenses that make the fancy patterns but the one lens is glass...
