sorry man. heh. so it is NORMAL for lasers to be this fragile, the parts coming off easily? I only dropped the laser from a height of about 1m.

Did the thing come loose so easily because it was a cheap laser or are such things THAT fragile? Also, how will the IR beam from the diode affect me? Can it burn my skin if I put my hand in front of it? I don't think it can be more damaging than the original laser beam.

what happens if i turn the laser on without putting back parts A, B and C?
