Ok, so I have convinced my dad, all I need to do is find out how much it will be...basically I want a pair of safety goggles, and a laser pointer which can light matches and pop balloons for the best price...Thanks in advance

I searched around on Google and other forums and the websites they recommended had lasers upwards of $200...as for the guide it says for burning you need 95+mw and I was confused as to what it meant by duty cycle...additionally, I live in the US so I know lasers greater than 5mw are illegal...

i saw that rayfoss had protective goggles for $12, so I can get those...just how much would a laser able to pop balloons cost? trying to gather information to convince my dad

Any ideas of how much it would be? I have the money, I'm just being stingy :whistle: and as for safety goggles I don't plan on pointing it at someone, their eyes are out of the question...so just looking at the beam is hazardous to your eyes?
