@kcorbhv how much would you want for it? and wouldnt it overheat without a heatsink as its a pen host? @laserpyro I dont think i have the knowledge yet to build a 1W (or any other handheld for that matter) all in good time though. also it is definitely too powerful for me as a beginner...

now just re-reading these comments, the 75mw is the 'cheap' kind of module? so it will have a shorter life-span and wont produce a fine beam? as to what qumefox said? confused there. or its better to have the 'screw-part' on a module, as that shows better quality? e.g. 50mW 532nm 3.0-3.7V...
