When you say how much light do i want blocked? i just want some that are safe for me to look at the dot and beam and protect incase of direct contact. cheap as possible i guess :P

hello there, ive been looking around at to what glasses/goggles to buy and it seems that they cover small wave length being i would have to buy 3+ different sets of glasses to cover me from blue red green etc wave lengths. Is there glasses out there that cover a larger field, that arent too...

hello, am after a aixiz housing with a glass lens cheap as possible a acrylic lens maybe if super cheap. A laser diode red or blue, not too worried on power more than 100mw less than 300mw. Needs to be able to sent to the uk, so uk sellers would be ideal Cheers Rocky

Hello, well thank you very much all sorted think its pretty much there - am getting 11mA min and 246Ma max Tho that is using a 7.2v rated 5000mah lipo battery from my rc cars on a multi meter they put out nearer 8.4v,so need to find some power pack of the same power but much smaller. Thanks...

hmmm yeh, 4.8 volts am using 4 AAA's, i see it says 7.2 volts ideal on that diagram. problem ? Cheers

sorry, forgot to metion above, i brought a new regulator and that solved it, have just stripped it and soldered it without using a pcb just wires etc and im getting .118 with the load test circuit using a DMM set to volts, still not the max 250ma i should be getting, will go to my local store...

When Laserbee has those figures, where does the 5 come from ? 100 being the 100ohm - max resistance on the pot ? On a little of topic how would get more than 250mA ? as thats no resistance from the pot so where would the current be changed from ? Will get some pictures of what i have so far...

Yes, I am using the same components in the same setup that are used on rog's site the only thing different is the pot I'm using this one Cermet Preset Potentiometers : Potentiometers : Maplin 100ohm one. Will get some pictures tomorrow, will have to excuse the soldering :p Cheers

Hello again, right have replaced the regualtor with a new one and the circuit is complete. Have also made a test load now consisting of 4 1n4001 diodes and a 1 ohm resistor as per my 2nd link, set it all up and measured across the resistor with DMM set to volts, and i can adjust between .01 and...
