I bit the bullet and bought an aluminum heat sink from survival lasers.

I am not sure whether those heat sinks would be suitable. They are diode press ones, and I already have the diode pressed into an axiz module. Would it be possible to just drill them out so that they fit the module?

Survival lasers heatsink would set me back $31. Considering Mohrenberg was selling copper heatsinks for this model for <$20 it's just ridiculous. Pm me with what you have got.
