Hey! I was curious to see what was in there! By the way, I tried to super glue it back together the other day, and boy was that a dumb idea... The whole thing oxidized and doesn't reflect well anymore. I have a few others but they don't work as well.

Ok yeah. I was thinking the ray foss 100mW. So what OD glasses should I get? I'm going to get them from dragon lasers. Edit: Actually the Olike looks good too. I like that one because it says "adjustable" which I assume means focusable. I'll go read some reviews.

I think these are the reflections of the grooves. I also tried taking a lens that expands the dot to be more like a flash light (don't know the proper term) and shined that at the cpu. It gets very dim when doing it that way but then you can start to see little structures and it looks more...

Ok, today I took off the cap and blew on it a bit but it didn't look like it had anything on the lens anyways. I have a lens cleaning pen for my DSLR I can use on it though.

Ah, got it. So does that mean they are ok to use for protection from those other wavelengths? Or should I still get a second pair which are specified for a different wavelength?

That does help- a lot. I will keep searching even more too. Thank you BTW. The way I see it, is if I'm going to spend $150-$200 on a pair that is for a less powerful laser, why not spend the same amount for the ones with better protection since in the near future I hope to acquire some more...
