Well worth it for $8 I think. My ISQs are weird. My 5mW purple pen will pop balloons but can't seem to focus my 100 to do it. My 100 will smoke electrical tape but my purple has a hard time. I need to get them LPMed!

I'll try it out, Elite Ares! My "5mW" purple pen will now pop a balloon now that shortened the barrel and can now focus the beam! A local member is going to LPM them for me when he has a chance.

Yep, same as IQS's but IQS's has a "<5mW" sticker on it.

My "5mW" purple pen was in my pocket and it got washed with my pants. It was on spin cycle when I realized it. Still works but I need to get the moisture off the lens. Major dot disortion/cloudiness. Oh well, I will buy another if I have to and keep the host for another project.

Well, this thread is two months old but if we're still finding new things to do with it then why not add it? It lights up my three cracked glass and two opaque uranium-doped marbles really well! A lot better than my handheld UV light.

Good question, anselm. I bought one of these along with a Super 100 from IQS. I paid $8.66. Seems like the same thing as far as the host but it is rated to "<5mW". The only other thing is I don't know what it is actually putting out since I don't have an LPM yet. If mine is more overspec...
