    Green laser pointer problem

Well, it takes something like 15 seconds to light a match with this laser. But I don't want to buy a laser from another country, so I am happy this laser. Even if it is not reeeally 500mw, it's much higher than what you normally get here (if you can't trusth the mw number).

    Green laser pointer problem

This is not the first time this happened, last time it was with those conventional black pen-looking lasers... is it just me or it's something related to these blue 4-volts bateries? I think it's from China these sites gets their lasers

    Green laser pointer problem

In dollars the cost would be US$120.00. You probably don't know the site because of my country (Brazil). However I don't feel this is the type of website that sell stuff like that, of course I could be wrong... Still the site has garantee over the product, I might call for a replacement. Should...

    Green laser pointer problem

Okay, I will try not use the laser. But what exactly you mean by "look into the laser"? You mean looking at an invisible beam coming from the laser like a normal laser pointer, or the red light device behind the tiny secondary lens?

    Green laser pointer problem

So I brought a 500mw green laser pointer on a site (link). It comes home today at 13:00 and after some tests I put the battery to recharge. Overall everything was right for around six hours. But them when night comes and I tried to use it, it had some problems (it was quite shocking since it's...

Thanks, that information is usefull. I am a total noob on that stuff. It would work if I put two 10440 there? Or can't I put one 10440 along with a common 1.2v battery?

Yes, it wasn't. Next time I shall buy a AA battery pointer, but for now I will risk these 3-4 volts batteries. I brought it for 70 reais, which equals to around 40 dollars.

    Danger

If I get a laser pointer 200mw at full potential, which risks are involved? Currently it works at the maximum like a 50mw. It already happened as accidentally reflecting from a windows to someone face and etc, but it never caused any serious trouble. If it achieve full potential, how much...

Seems like 10440 is a very good choice. I am looking toward it. Which other batteries near the 3-4v are there? Is aany there with a good duration (MaH over 2000)?

Okay, that a good advice whenever I am going to buy a new laser pointer... However, since it's not the case, let's just say my religion is against AA. :na:

I own a 200mw green laser pointer. I am using a pair of rechargeable AAA batteries. I don't know exactly the company name, it's simply writen "★ LASER POINTER ★" on it. It also says "MADE IN CHINA" on the warning advisor. It's identical to this picture. The problem is: I noticed that my...
