Does anyone know if this module is focusable?

150mW 532nm Solid Green Laser Diode Module w/h Heatsink - eBay (item 260620315831 end time Jan-10-11 20:34:03 PST) It doesn't say in the listing and I can't really tell just by looking at it.

    LM317 Vs. Driver

Alright, thanks for the feedback guys, I'll take it into consideration

    LM317 Vs. Driver

Hi, I am finishing a build on a 150mw 405nm laser and all I need to get is a driver. I know what current to set it to and everything, but it is much cheaper to just buy a LM317 and a resistor instead of a driver. What are the advantages to a driver vs an LM317, since they both basically just...

Welding goggles for 150mw 405nm laser?

Thanks, I actually ended up ordering some lasershades for about the same price as goggles anyways just now, so I'll be fine

Welding goggles for 150mw 405nm laser?

Hi, I've searched for an answer to this question, but couldn't find out if welding goggles would be enough protection for my eyes against a 150mw 405nm laser that I built. If I replace the lenses with UV filter lenses or add them in front of the welding goggles, would that protect me enough?

How to increase power of this Bluray laser?

Alright, I'll secure everything with electrical tape, and the driver description says that I should use a voltage range of 8-15V. Should I try a 12V battery and see if that makes it stronger?

How to increase power of this Bluray laser?

Hi, I just built a 405nm bluray laser, and the current is about 110ma, and it is about 100 mw. It should be able to burn, but after focusing the beam as much as possible with this aixiz lens it still will not light a match or burn black plastic. Help please, and here are pics. you can see that...

    First Build-PHR-803T 405nm laser

The heatsink is for the aixiz, and I was planning on connecting the diode directly to the driver and putting all of that into the Aixiz module, and then mounting the whole module in the heatsink. And this will be a handheld

    First Build-PHR-803T 405nm laser

Hi, so I just ordered the parts for my first build, and i wanted to see if this sounded good with everyone, or if anyone had any suggestions. I bought a PHR-803 diode and a Flexdrive preset at 110 ma, and an Aixiz module. I bought a heatsink from Jayrob also, and plan to power it with a 9V...

Does Anyone Have a Test-Load I Could Buy?

Great, thanks a lot you guys. By the way, sorry to be such a noob, but when I get the test load, I hook the driver up to the wires that are on the test load already and hook the multimeter up to the test load right? Also, I just have a pretty cheap but good soldering iron from radio shack

Does Anyone Have a Test-Load I Could Buy?

Hi, I'm just getting into laser building and I just bought a multimeter and have no test load. I really don't want to build one, since I'll probably make some mistakes, so does anyone have a spare I could buy?

Help Setting up 150mw Blue laser

Hi, I was going to put it into a module once I knew it was working, but I have been able to get absolutely no light or signal out of it at all. And the extra switch is just easier to press. However, no, the driver came with no connection layout which is really annoying and my many emails to...

Help Setting up 150mw Blue laser

Hi, I recently purchased a laser diode and driver for a 445nm 150mw laser from laserdiy.com and I am having trouble wiring everything together. I have a 3V battery hooked up to a switch and I soldered wires to the positive and negative pins on the diode, but I have no idea how to connect the...
