I just got one of the "5mW" 405s from itemquickship. Took about a week to get here. I'm very thrilled with the preformance. I don't have an LPM, but in good darkness the beam is very faintly visible; hitting something flourescent like a piece of white fabric or paper produces a very bright dot...

Mmmm. Maybe if you pressed the aperture right against the single-pane glass, reflections wouldn't be a big deal. My uncle owns a small plane. If I ever get a 445... I might have to try this experiment.

I've done that. Ouch indeed. Didn't end badly, but my favorite stupid moment was when I blindly reached into the electronics project I built to move a wire around. It was plugged in, and I had just hooked up the 320v part of the power supply. Sure was one hell of a tingle.

CCleaner is used for clearing out "junk" files that accumulate like temp files, browser cookies, some system logs, etc. Running it will recover disk space and it's a great program, but it won't fix malware problems. Malwarebytes is great for scouring the system once you've discovered a problem...

To clarify, I wasn't planning on buying one (anytime soon).

I'd worry about a dangerous level of reflection coming off the little acrylic window.
