Nice laser! I have to agree that the GLP-473 is awesome. It is a beautiful color and the host just emphasizes it.

I wish you would have been selling this when I bought the 450nm from you, but I just ordered (and paid for) a 473 from CNI. Great price! :bumpit:

I had a similar problem with lazerpoint. Ordered two lasers and they showed up as shipped in the system complete with tracking number (EMS). After three weeks, it had not showed up nor had the tracking number showed any activity. I sent another email and magically the tracking number started...

Actually the green beam and dot are more visible in person. Comparable, but the green is definitely more visible.

Here is a beam shot of the 450nm beside a comparable power 532nm. The picture exaggerates the blueness of the 450 beam. It does not look that blue to the eye.

I have a similar laser. The dot is very bright and round and the beam is visible at night, however, it is not a classical beam like you would see with a green laser. It is a cool blue-black look. I find it very pleasing. The dot is clearly visible out to about 1500 ft. It can be seen further...

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know if there may be someone who has done repairs on these lasers. I will contact CNI for their assistance.

Still looking for some help. Maybe a schematic of the host, some suggestions...

I have a CNI GLP-589 that has an issue. No problem with the laser diode, it works fine. However, during my travels, apparently TSA got a little frisky with the host and now the switch on the side no longer functions. Either the host body was twisted so that the switch is permanently depressed or...
