    Best laptop under $800

Re: My computer is dying... :( Your motherboard is dieing and has 3 months to live . I would expect a so called "tech" at Best Buy to say something so stupid. The power supply died on my laptop and those dummies told me it was my battery, useless. Like the others have said you need...

    WF 188 charger questions

The wire I used is a little thicker than the silicone wire used in lasers but it's all I have right now but I will be redoing the mod once I get the thinner wire. The batts I have are low resistance non-protected sanyo and 1 tenergy.

    WF 188 charger questions

Although my avg has dropped a little to 3.985v, now every batt has charged to a min of 3.95v which is up from 3.85v. Looks like this mod has reduced the range of volts so they are all closer to 4v but not any higher :(. I still like this charger though :)

    WF 188 charger questions

I have removed the rails. soldered wires on and will report back new charging results. I couldn't resist trying this little mod :D

    WF 188 charger questions

I got my WF-188 from ebay (china or H.Kong) unboxed just bubble wrapped. Last night I charged all 5 of my 18650's (mix of Sanyo & Tenergy unprotected) and my results were a range of 3.85v-4.3v with an average of 4.03v. My results seem to mirror rocket689's. Taking it apart and soldering a wire...

What are the best goggles for 445nm blue beams?

OD 2.5 at 445nm for the Radiant, they aren't adequate for 1W+ so get the Eagle Pair.

If it tests ok you could leave the wires soldered on for me so I don't melt them on

My 2nd build not working, help plz!

Ok great thanks. There was a very small amount of solder on the diode, but I'm surprised to here that it is working. Keep me updated on the test. Thanks...later.

My 2nd build not working, help plz!

All indications show it's the diode since it's getting the volts and it is grounded. I was afraid I'd have bad luck with this stuff. I only wanted to make 1 and sell 1 and that was it but I can't even do that. I don't have the money to waste on dead parts.

My 2nd build not working, help plz!

The Flex V5 could always do 1.5A. I didn't heatsink it yet, I wanted to know it was working first. I do have a heatsink in the Guidesman. I have re-soldered it 3x now and still nothing. It is getting the voltage and it is grounded fine so I guess it's a dud diode.

My 2nd build not working, help plz!

After taking it apart and re-solding the wires I tested the voltage with my multi-meter and the diode is getting 3.9V so maybe it's a dead diode. Any other tests I can do?

My 2nd build not working, help plz!

I don't know what else to say since there is only 4 wires on a flex. I'm only getting cont on the negs at each end of the flex and nothing else.
