right, ive got a sheet of copper on its way(150x100x0.45mm), bare in mine i have no special tools like a lathe, ive got a hand drill (big and little) and thats basically it that could be handy, i go to a college that has a few big drills(that ones that are stuck to the floor) and a pillar drill...

ive got a 12mm odicforce module and im looking at making a mini mag light laser, im buying the maglite tonight i just need the diode as ive got a driver and module. will THIS diode go into a standard module without problems? if not ill buy a PHR-803T diode and driver from odicforce which one...

i dont see the attraction to dragon lasers, everything seems insanely expensive

found a 500mw blue diode on odicforce for 45 pounds. If i have 45 at the end of this month im gunneq get one, only problem is there isnt a driver that goes up to 600ma which is the minimum for 500mw. Its also reported to be ran up to 1w with a really good heatsink :D anyone know of a driver that...

my question if about the diode-driver connection in this module, its fairly straigh farward where the diode and the module go in the module, but when you screw the metail piece over the diode there is quite a distance between the diode and the space for the driver, should i just get the diode...

i seeeee, would i be better using this (<<<link) or should i stick with the step up. im gunner make it a mini lab laser for now and with the step up i could just use 2xAA but with the other id need 3 or 4

does anyone know if this driver is alright? link also do i have to solder the desistor in that it show in the pic and does it come with the driver? and do i just put a piece of wire betwwen the pads labelled connect? thanks

im about to order some parts for my blu ray laser, just wondering if i will need to buy a glass lense for it? ive got a module with an acrylic lense but theres a glass lense on odic force for 405nm diodes, will i have to get this to focus it properly? thanks matt
