Nice can’t wait to see some pics. I still remember one of my favorite hosts from him. It was a special build for 14700 battery. Very skinny kind of reminded me of the shape of the pen lights doctors used to use when I was a kid.
Yep, should do a fine job maintaining the wavelength. Oh I do miss Ehgemus. Some of my favorite memories here were waiting for the next new host from him to do build threads on you’ll have to post some pics of what you got.🍺
No problem it’s on the way. These are paired with the Lazeerer nano buck boost driver. The ones I have that are the lowest current and use with this diode are fixed 175mA.🍺
We most certainly are. On the website if there is an add to cart button the item is currently available. If you have any questions about an item you can send a message to the info@DTRsLaserShop.com or post in the shop thread here. 🍺...
Thanks we take pride in our copper modules being a supplier of real C1100 99.9% Pure copper modules that are professionally machined. On hosts unfortunately to operate within the current regulations I can't offer hosts on the site but there are many good sources for hosts out there that fit both...
Is this without the lens in. You might have a diode window that has been knocked out and floating around in the can. Can you try and get a picture of the top of the diode in the module?
If you remove the lens and shine it on a wall does it still produce a pronounced bar shaped out put on the wall with a lot of luminosity? IF not It does sound like the diode might be LED which is damage causing the main lasing line to be burnt out and the faint round output is just light...
Oh yea look at the near field pattern in the spec sheet on their site. That is one hell of a line.

435nm sounds interesting as a unique color as well though visual brightness would be lower than...
For pointers where most are maybe run a few hours in their life a decanned/recanned diode really is not a big issue as long as you keep the diode pocket free of particles and debris. Avoid taking the lens out reducing exposure to fresh oxygen, dust and air particles. Use high quality modules...
Update 2/24/2025
As some of you know back several years ago I ran into some health issues and I am very thankful to my cousin that stepped up to carry the shop on. In the last year I have in increasingly better health and now I have reassumed the mantle of running the shop and production. The...
