    Holographic Laser Warning Decals!

Makes a lot of sense actually, I sometimes forget not everyone is working almost slave labour rates in a random chinese factory... Does PayPal let you add a note to your automatically generated confirmation email? Even something like "you won't get a shipping confirmation" or something to that...

For sale : 501B lasers with copper heatsink from $80

Re: For sale: NEW 1W-2W 445nm 501B lasers from $110 You might want to look a little further into how green/blue lasers work before you go ordering a 1W of either :\ In short, they're completely different. $130 will get you couple hundred mW of green tops.

    Holographic Laser Warning Decals!

Yo man, would really appreciate it if you sent a shipping confirmation email. Only one I got was from PayPal, I just like knowing all the steps :) In other news, cut this in half and looks awesome on one of Blord's 501B Blue hosts.

Re: For sale: NEW 1W-2W 445nm 501B lasers from $110 Almost forgot the images! No beamshots for you, everyone should already know how 1W blue looks :P Some notes: Seriously, this module is beautifully crafted. Never stop, Blord. This laser looks awesome with a warning sticker from Innovative...

For sale : 501B lasers with copper heatsink from $80

Re: For sale: NEW 1W-2W 445nm 501B lasers from $110 Just the 1W one, but mine peaks at 1.1 :D Good thing I have some 18650s as well, because put one of them in and it drops to super low power. How low I'm not sure as I lack an LPM, anyone want to check for me?

Re: For sale: NEW 1W-2W 445nm 501B lasers from $110 After some initial shipping concerns (which Blord updated me about extremely quickly every time) this gorgeous device finally arrived. Beautifully machined, wonderful host, awesome laser. Would definitely buy from him again. Thanks again :D

    Another idiot arrested. Hooray!

Was reading the paper today, and came across a lovely report. Only sad thing is that this was all the way back on page 25, so less people will read it. I think there needs to be much more laser safety awareness around the general public :\

50mW Spirograph - does fast rotation negate the need for goggles?

I think I'll make a proper judgement when I get the module - Here's hoping there's no need to pot mod it in the first place. If I do... Well, I think I'll keep it away from eye level. :)

50mW Spirograph - does fast rotation negate the need for goggles?

With that sobering thought, I think I'll keep it either pointed up away from eyesight or kept at 5mW.

50mW Spirograph - does fast rotation negate the need for goggles?

Being a cheap laser, I doubt it's filtered. I'll salvage one from an old digital camera I have lying around and attach it. Ok, sounds like I might just keep it at 5mW then, unless I do plan to go to the more intense stuff... Thanks again :)

50mW Spirograph - does fast rotation negate the need for goggles?

So, to be safe assume it's not eye safe? I might see how it looks, if it's acceptable at 5mW I might even just leave it at that.

50mW Spirograph - does fast rotation negate the need for goggles?

Hi all, Inspired by some of the cool spirograph projects I've found around the place, I've decided to create my own, Arduino controlled one, with saveable patterns etc etc... For this, I've grabbed a 5mW dealextreme module, and I'm going to pot mod it (don't lecture me on why not, I spent all...

Suggestions to entice people to donate.

I had about $3 on my prepaid credit card that wasn't useful for anything else, so I donated $2. It's not much, but I hope it helps. LPF has helped me so much! :yh:

    O-Like 50mW Green 6 in 1 mini review

I've tried it with a black balloon, and: Just the plain balloon, I tried for about a minute, nothing. Coloured the black balloon a little blacker with a sharpie, and it popped in about 20 seconds. Then with a magnifying glass in front of the laser - I held the laser about 30cm from the balloon...

    O-Like 50mW Green 6 in 1 mini review
