    Gatling laser

The original Gatlin gun was a machine gun with multiple barrels and it turned as it shot. These are just made to resemble that design and the extra cooling that it provides is bonus.

    Gatling laser

Thanks for the offer swimminsurfer256 but I'm in Canada and I don't want to risk it with customs or even Canada post for that matter. You would love it though, it's a beauty.

    Gatling laser

My Gatlin showed up today too!:D It fits my hand perfect and is even nicer than I expected. For some reason I expected the three rings holding the gatlin barrels to be seperately machined pieces added to the inner host body. High quality and a work of art to boot. Unfortunately I also...

    Anyone else into homemade Ballistics\Pyrotechnics?

Yeah, the paint will work . . . once or twice and then the electrodes will be coated with paint and then its cleanup time. Hairspray, deodorant, lemon pledge all work well too, and they all leave crap in the chamber. Crap = misfires

    Anyone else into homemade Ballistics\Pyrotechnics?

Try using a bit less propane. If there is too much fuel it won't ignite, too little yields a smaller explosion. The best fuel that I have found is a product called Static Guard. It is 98 % flamable ,2 % perfume so it shoots great and even smells good, and leaves no residue. My chamber is a 4...

    Donating to LPF

I threw into the pot too. Nothing compared to the value of what I have learned here but its a start.

    Flame thrower

The thing with mythbusters is the fuel was dribbled onto the ground not sprayed into the air, it wasn't in a plastic tank and it wasn't held in a persons hands. They also have their bases covered in case things go wrong. You should also have heard them say "DON"T TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS". You have...

What do you do for a living

No, the bee die off is not bs. The catch all phrase "Colony Collapse Disorder" is bs though. It is called that because it could not be determined what killed the bees. We have been able to find the cause of most of our bee mortality here in Alberta. Of course our bees can't dissapear here...

    Hello from Alberta

I don't really remember the laser scenes as much as I remember Ally and thinking how I'd like to be the guy that threw her repeatedly to the ground. But I was young then. Now I like a little more comfort.:D I'll have to watch the movie again and watch the lasers instead of the distactions.

    Hello from Alberta

Actually I have been using protective goggles and glasses[not certified] but checked to make sure they block most of the light since the third button push of a 120mW 405. The first click lit a match at about 4 feet and the second time was checking my shades to see how well they would work. I got...

    Hello from Alberta

Most of my searches take me down the "Garden path" of info that I was not searching for but distracts me from what I was looking for because it is so new and interesting to me.Don't get me wrong , I find the info that I am searching for usually and a whole lot more besides. When I started...

Why do you need this laser??

I have used my laser to check the staightness of walls, concrete forms, etc. Saves a lot of time when you can use a beam of light instead of blocks & string for a last minute check. A friends dog will actually come and nip the hand holding the laser if it is turned off before he is done chasing...

    Hello from Alberta

Thanks for the welcome and the links. The search function has not been a time saver for me so far, mostly because I don't know the correct terms or keywords to use but it has always led to something else interesting. I sure hope the laser dealers [o-like, optronics, laserglow] are contributing to...

"Noise Halo" on a new 50mW violet laser

I bought a 120 mW 405 from Warn almost a year ago and it has a bright halo almost 12 inches in diameter around the dot at 12 feet.It hurts to look at the dot. I also have a 120 mW 405 from another online seller at 1/3 of the price. It has less than half of the halo and it is violet in color.This...

    Hello from Alberta

Hi guys, Let me compliment you on an awsome forum. I had no idea that so much info existed in one spot. I'm glad I found the forum but sorry it wasn't a year earlier. I could have spent my money a bit wiser :( . I bought my first laser pointer in the late 80's when the Sharper Image started to...
