I'm not sure if most tailcaps are the same, but based on the ones I've used, there should be two holes on opposite sides of the spring. You need to stick a sharp object (like a pen) in a hole, and unscrew the ring until it comes out. Worked perfectly, thank you very much.

Just recieved my 150mW Elite Pro from WL.... how disappointing.... Looks just as bright as my 55mW Viper from dragonlasers, same beam visibility too. The only way I can light matches with it is if I color the match head black with a sharpie and even then I have to hold the laser really close...
