Hi,
Im trying to understand how to work out the luminance or luminance intensity a laser diode can emit. Most of the maths I've seen when looking around is full of variables I don't understand. Is there a simple way to work out the properties of the light produced using the wavelength, output...
Hi,
Im designing a setup to focus the light from a 405nm laser diode into a multimode fiber (50 or 62.5/125), could anyone suggest a lens or lenses to do this? will i need 2 lenses, a collimator lens then a focusing lens or just the one?
Thanks
Any ideas where i could get a hold of a 405nm laser diode (anything up to 100mW) with built in photodiode? Ive asked for a couple for quotes and cheapest has been £248 for a single LD, not sure if im asking the wrong people or they really are that pricey.
thanks
So LD's like the PHR 803T wont have the photodiode built in?
How in this case is the optical output power stabilized, is this done solely through stable current and temperature control?
Hi, Great Forums!
Im trying to get a general idea of how the photodiode in laser diodes can be used to regulate the current to the laser diode. What kind of feedback circuitry could be used for this? i understand that the voltage drop across the photodiode is proportional to optical output...
