Thanks, Jayrob. I received the host/heatsink combo thursday. Now all I need is batteries. I was going to ask how you got the heatsink in the host or how I would get it out to do the set screw but the module fit perfectly snug so I'm not going to even worry about the set screw at this point...

Thanks, I searched for "coleman flashlight" and it only came back with 4 results. None of which said CR2. Not surprising though I always liked Target more but then again they don't sell any good hosts anymore. I might have to get in on this....Now off to convince the wifey.:D

I couldn't find the coleman max on wal-mart's website. They had the coleman cree that takes AAA but not a CR2. Anyone know where this could be bought local elsewhere?

I don't really know much about the internals of the PSU although I have always been told to not mess with them internally for various reasons. You can however obtain a PSU with the 12v on one rail. I usually recommend PC Power and Cooling however they are out of stock on Newegg as of today...

That is true... If you are willing to part with one...otherwise it is like most personal property...more valuable to the owner. If it ever comes to depreciate in personal property value enough to contemplate sale let me know.

Dave the modules came today. Maybe it was untrackable because it was so quick! I didn't sign for it (as they just left it) FYI. I can't wait to get building. Now on to an appropriate heatsink and host....
