i bought a new laser and it eats through alkaline 1.5v batteries. what would be the best batteries to buy? i have considered rechargeable nimhs but they are only 1.2v, would that make a difference?

alright thanks. i suspected something like that, but wasnt sure because being a cheap honkkong laser i thought it might just be a stupid design flaw to make it fit 1 not 2 batteries. i wont risk it though, to get another laser would be really hard considering over 1mw is illegal here in australia.
