honestly i can say this is no way near the best driver out there. i killed a handfull tryn to get a second one made so i guess i was lucky with the first one. if your looking to build a handheld look for a different driver.

nice what software are u using to do the raster scanning with? just a bit of advice.. i found 405nm psb cubes in the uk, and i use a flexmod2 driver. i set the current at 250ma and used a radioshack pot 1k for each diode, using a dummyload i set the pot at 75 ma for each diode ran in parallel...

I purpose a modification to the below driver so that the low ttl can be set as normal but by adding a switched line that contains a resistor the diode can be brought above the threshold point making mirror alignment easier. i suggest this be done with a fixed value resistor in a piggyback...
