Best cells for a c6 aurora host

Oh whoops! My bad, it's been a long day. *facepalm to myself* Thanks for the correction:)

Best cells for a c6 aurora host

Didn't you already open a topic? http://laserpointerforums.com/f67/c6-batteries-host-73294.html a cr123(16340) battery is 1/2 the size of an 18350. Therefore, you can use 2 cr123s for twice the output voltage. Although, if you have an extension tube for the c6, you can use 2 18350s for longer...

How can I use this flashlight as a host for a 445nm build?

Yes, the reflector is in the. I'll try and take or apart when I have time. Hopefully its threaded somehow. As for the batteri, what driver would you recommend using for a current of 1.6A and the voltage of 3 10440 batteries?

How can I use this flashlight as a host for a 445nm build?

I see it perfectly fine on my computer:/ here's a direct link anyways: http://s14.postimage.org/vvz8jkjbj/IMG_1762.jpg

I meant to say "How can I use this flashlight as a host". Sorry about that haha.

How can I use this flashlight as a host for a 445nm build?

Here's the flashlight: My friend wanted me to play with it and see if I could use it as a host. On circle 1, I cannot split this section apart, so I am not sure how I will fit a heatsink in there. On circle 2, it shows that it uses a barrel of 3 AAA batteries. I'll probably need to measure...

    c6 just add diode kit

It is a great kit. I used the host and pill in my first build. Look down and click on my signature to see pics.

5 mode LED driver with a 405nm build?

Ahh, I see. What was the the mA set at with your driver? No, I haven't purchased the driver yet :/

5 mode LED driver with a 405nm build?

Hmmm... so if it were a boost driver, it would draw the required voltage from a single battery, correct? I know this diode needs a higher Vf than a 445nm M140 diode, so I might just go ahead and get the ben boost driver or a microboost(what are the dif's anyways?) Thanks everyone! This is a...

5 mode LED driver with a 405nm build?

    Hmmm, I was planning to use a S06J Diode @ ~420mA but here are the testing results Vf-----ma-----mW 3.96----50-----32 4.3-----75-----71 4.56---100----108 4.8----125----146 5------150----188 5.18---175----228 5.32---200----266 5.45---225----307 5.55---250----345 5.65---275----384...

5 mode LED driver with a 405nm build?

Would it be okay for me to use this driver from DX: 5-Mode LED Driver Circuit Board for Flashlight (DC 0.9~4.2V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme in my next 405nm build @ 420mA? 2 reasons: It's super cheap It has 5 modes which I find nice:) I was planning to use this driver instead of a boost...

    My First Ever 445nm 1.5W Build :D

Yea, good luck with the build though! Hopefully there will be an efficient diode for you by that time. 750mA will fry most blu-ray diodes at the moment :P

    DTR's Laser Shop: Diodes-Drivers-Lenses-LEDs & More

Re: DTR's Laser Shop: 445 M140 Diodes $45 Shipped US Diodes-Drivers-Lenses-LEDs & M I got my diode last week, but I was finally able to use it today. All I have to say is WOW! Thank you for the great quality and super fast shipping! I am enjoying it in my build right now :D If anyone is...

    My First Ever 445nm 1.5W Build :D

Haha thanks! And nice! What diode are you gonna use? I'm guessing DTR's S06J driven at ?A with a g1/2 lens? Haha. I want to build a stronger 405nm without burning out the diode:P

    My First Ever 445nm 1.5W Build :D

Haha, good luck with your build! My next build will be a 600mW 405nm:) With this host and a copper heatsink, I still cycle it with 60 sec on/60 sec off just to be safe. So far, this laser runs like a beast.

    My First Ever 445nm 1.5W Build :D

Thanks, it worked like a charm on my first attempt! :D This has become a hobby, and I will be building many more lasers in the future :)

    My First Ever 445nm 1.5W Build :D

First of all, I give props to Mohrenburg, DTR, and Garoq from Survival Lasers:) I finally built my own laser (and YES I have protective goggles: ) and I am astounded by the finished product! I have purchased many lasers, and I finally decided to learn how to build one :D I currently do not have...

Problems with C6 JAD kit + dtr diode

It depends on which supplier you get your lens from most of the time. I think Jayrobs 405 G1 lens puts out the most output. Yes, you can just screw the lens on to your Aixiz module. The output will definitely increase with the G1/G2, but the divergence will be worse.

Problems with C6 JAD kit + dtr diode

Haha no problem:) I know what it was like when I first got started on lasers:) Not necessarily. His diode is multimode so it won't be as focused as other diodes. There's not much you can do.
