I emailed customs. They said you need to send a letter IRL to some guy in Canberra with proof of membership and a reason. So I guess it would not work if you just had a guest membership.

Hi, I as wondering where I can pick up some <1mW newwish laser pointers, to get the casing, because I'm in Australia, and the government is full of tightarses. Dealextreme doesn't sell 1mW pointers, and the lowest they sell are 5mW. They are $15 and green. Once again, I'm looking for a/some 1mW...

So would that make it cheaper or more expensive to send it domestically?

Could it be possible to ship a few (like 2) to Sydney without having it travel around the world first?
