I made a custom host out of 3/4 coper tubing , and many told me it kind of looked like a pipe bomb , i took it apart one day to check mA and killed my diode so , i went back to my project boxes for now.

Hello all, ive put together 2 phr 803 builds with your not so tipical host 1rst was with a airsoft laser sight module that is adjustable , and its a rather strange looking thing that has a ddl driver i put together ,and 9v battery. Heres a pic of 1rst build. Im rather happy with this crazy...

to make the story short , i was changing the DDL driver with a different DDL driver i made and upon reconecting the LD i connected + to - and - to + i turned it on and no light came out. Upon checking my connection i realised this huge mistake so i though "great i killed it , good going dumb...

yes the easiest way is to use snippers and pliers, i actually used sheet metal cutters and pliers , worked great , but you might want to practice on the other ir and red diode heatsing from the sled (ld with 4 pins)

Theres a driver schematic i made on ms paint , its the ddl one , made of available parts from radioshack and other local electronic shops like frys electronics. Let me see if i find it nvm : i need 3 more post so i can put pics up basically its the list below -lm317t curren regulator...

Nice pics and lasers :) I have the same camera and its actually prety good. I would recomend using RAW or JPEG and RAW setting and we can use minolta a mount lenses that you can buy off ebay ;) , yet to try that out.
