I would suggest you look at Rkcstr's Micro-Drive and DrLava's Flexdrive. The amount of hassle you would need to go through to make your own would cost far more than getting a pre-made one.

Well, they're either alkaline/NiMH in the standard AAAA, AAA, AA, C, or D at about 1.5 V, or they're Li-Ion 3.7 V batteries at 10440, 14500, or 18650 (and there's a few other sizes).  IIRC, for the Li-Ion batteries, the first two digits are the diameter (in mm), and the last three are the length...

Re: Which driver is better? Drivers? It's probably not the best idea to ask people to fill out a poll regarding two competing products on here. Each has their own use. The rkcstr driver is cheaper, can fit inside an Aixiz module, and requires a higher input voltage than the output voltage...
