I'm pretty sure its a 16x burner, could be less though. Is that gonna be a problem? I also broke off a small piece of glass while trying to extract the diode. Is that bad? Thanks for your help guys.

and much to my dismay, i couldnt find the diode... man i feel kinda dumb.   can someone point me in the right direction?  is this thing even usable?  I just wanted to make a burning laser pointer.
