    GB laser barrels

I'd definately be down for paying $2 for the extra stuff.

    FusionDrives GB - CLOSED

Re: GB - $4 FusionDrives - PAYMENT PAGE UP Uhh...Blue, I paid and it has not been updated. Can you check mine for me again?

    Laser + Long Exposure

Nice Timelord. Unfortunately, I was using my parent's digital camera while I was home for a bit, and now I don't have one (except for a huge bulky POS digital camera that has almost no settings....) So, I guess I'll have to wait till Christmas to mess with it again.

    Laser + Long Exposure

I've seen this here before, but I had to try it myself. I had a lot of bad 'drawings' since its hard to see what your doing when turning on and off a laser and writing on something that doesn't show what your doing (such as a wall). I'll try to see what I can do with some more time and better...

    My First DIY-Red

After 3 broken diodes, I've managed to do it this time. The diode is running off of 4.5V through a circuit with 5 Ohms of resistance and a 47uF capacitor. I failed at making DDL's circuit (I'll look into it more once I improve my soldering), so this is the best I could do. I'm not quite sure...

    GB laser barrels

Re: GB feeler laser barrels You dont have my 1 down. Can you add me to the list?

    Penta-Review (5mW, 30mW, 115mW, 134mW,DIY)

    Re: Quad-Review (5mW, 30mW, 115mW, 134mW) Well...now it looks like I want to get a CNI instead of DX 30mW if I get a green laser. Nice review =)

    GB laser barrels

Re: GB feeler laser barrels I'm liking the driver kits from Meridith Instruments. It costs about that much for me to go get the parts from Radio Shack, and they dont even have the correct parts. Its an added bonus that the driver is designed for laser diodes and has a board that'll fit nicely...

    GB laser barrels

Re: GB feeler laser barrels I really should badger my dad, he has a degree in electrical engineering. Maybe I should have him when I'm building custom drivers...hah.

    GB laser barrels

Re: GB feeler laser barrels Yes, I'd like 1. I want to get 2, but I cant. If you want to sell extra drivers to me however, I'd love to get some drivers as I suck at making my own that fit into flashlights.

    GB laser barrels

Re: GB feeler laser barrels I'd love to get one. Cant beat a deal that includes a driver (which I suck at making myself :'( ) Id sure as hell shell out around that price for a case + driver...It would make my life easier just to pop in the GB diodes and have it working. I'd like CR123 I guess.

I FOUND a pretty nice host for my first flashlight

Re: I FOUND a pretty nice host for my first flashl Awesome, I dont know how I missed that before. I looked around, but didnt see any extensive reviews. Thanks Gazoo! What type of heatsinking can I do to run it without adding any resistor or capacitor however?

    Laser selling question (school)

Yeah, I turned my Element into a laser just using the diode already in the Axiz Module (Which I have issues getting out in the other one I finally got out) and they were a bit careless with it, so I'm having seconds thoughts. I think I need to draw up an agreement stating I'm not liable for any...

    Laser selling question (school)

Good thing I'm in college. I'm still afraid to even sell one to my friends because I think they'll burn their eyes out.

I FOUND a pretty nice host for my first flashlight

Re: I FOUND a pretty nice host for my first flashl Well, currently I have just the new axiz module hooked directly up to the circuit (not even soldered, just held in by the springs) and it works just fine as of now. I am aware it can sill hurt the diode, but with the ones that come in it, I am...

I FOUND a pretty nice host for my first flashlight

Re: I FOUND a pretty nice host for my first flashl I'm wondering how well I can use a pre-built driver. Would either of these two work in my flashlight or maglight minis? (I'm having horrible luck with making my own drivers.) http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3160...

    So Where is everyone from??

Lol, maybe I can get someone to show me why I cant even get the Axiz modules to power up for more than 5 seconds.

I FOUND a pretty nice host for my first flashlight

Re: I FOUND a pretty nice host for my first flashl I'm going to have to figure out how exactly my wiring is going to be done, and the correct amount of resistance to use. Whats a good value to drive it at? I'll have to start testing my output as soon as I can get a meter.

I FOUND a pretty nice host for my first flashlight

Re: I FOUND a pretty nice host for my first flashl So, I need to figure out the best way to add a resistor or something so I don't blow my very first diodes. I got my Axiz modules, and I've been wanting to just experiment with the diodes that are in there, the only thing that is happening is...

    So Where is everyone from??

I actually go to UNC Charlotte, so near Concord.
