So.. how big of a fire? I tried a candle and nothing.. first used a little bit of cornstarch (1/4 teaspoon or less) then quite a bit more (up to a teaspoon), first time candle stayed lit, second time it blew out. No fireball or any effect other than a bunch of cornstarch flying all over the place.

How exactly does the cornstarch become flammable? If you just try lighting it in a tray it does nothing. Is there an website that goes further into detail about this?

Luckily I received mine on the 5th of december. I am not happy with the time it took to deliver, but the laser is working great. Somehow a paypal dispute was opened, and it wasn't by me. They are refunding my shipping costs, so I guess everything is ok in the end.... Unless they don't refund me...

Damn. I ordered mine on Nov. 15th (SW US) or, the 16th in China, and it has had the same "foreign international dispatch" status since the 17th. DL tells me the laser is held back in the US due to holiday delays. But they also told me a week ago that they were sure I would receive it last week...
