Well I just got my first green yesterday, it's a KD "Edwina". I took it outside last night and was shining it at buildings at very long distances which was fine. From ground level I shone it at the top of a 20 storey building and there must have been some fairly reflective surface up there...

I'm thinking about getting a Romisen L-B030 from DX. Can anyone recommend this laser? How easy is it to take apart and adjust the focus? Any other contenders in this price/power range?

Thanks chido, I'll probably get the rkcstr driver @ 350mA. If I could clarify, will I be able to use either 2x3.0V or 2x3.6V CR123 batteries?

I was also wondering about the best driver to use with the Stonetek Aixiz/Sony combo and Jayrob's heatsink. Is it better to try to build up a driver on the circuit board that comes with the MXDL or should I try using rkcstr's driver? I'm thinking that the larger driver would allow the whole unit...

Most people seem to want as narrow a beam as possible for burning etc, but what about making a wide beam? I would like to be able to adjust the beam from narrow to wide, eg something like 10cm @ 1m. I am thinking about getting a Sony diode preinstalled in an Aixiz module from Stonetek. Do these...
