I want to build a blu-ray with the PHR-803T from modwerx. I want to use a 9V as a power source and a rkcstr driver. What mA rating of the driver should i use for 9V for long diode life?
The diode and housing is a little expensive when i can get a diode and housing together for $19 at modwerx.com. Is the diode from stonetek better? Also i could get a micro driver for around $13. Should i do this or go with the stonetek products? Also what batteries should i use?
I want to build my first blu-ray laser. Can someone suggest a diode, driver, and housing? I was thinking the 405nm diode from modwerx. What driver should i use for this diode? I want it to be 50mw+. Thanks for the help.
I have the 200mw dilda and was wondering if goggles were necessary if i am just shining onto black materials? I know it is always a good idea but is it a must? What are the symptoms of eye damage? Are there any good cheap goggles for 660nm? Thanks.
I want to get the 200mw green pointer from dx but they say they do not ship to the US any laser >5mw. Is this true? If I place an order will they cancel it or will they just ship it? Thanks
They are CR2123's i already have some regular cr2's for it that work fine but people said that there was a 20% increase in power with the 123's so i ordered some off of ebay to try.
So the juice rechargeables will fit in the default dilda? Do i need to get a different charger than the one that came from o-like.com to charge the 3.0 volt batteries or will that one work with the 3.6v?
