thanks. rog what kinda motors ar u using? can u get ur motors down to like say 1 rpm spikec, that is a nice tutorial and i think im using the exact same mirrors u are =P im getting a split beam effect tough. the beam is reflected 3 times cuz its not a surface mirror

iv seen rogs small spirograph in the tutorial section and i want to make one. i havnt seen too many specific tutorials on the subject, so i wanted to ask, anything specific to know about, any perticualr build. what i found so far is that u should use surface reflective mirrors like acrylic...

lol i remeber somtin like that in science class where light from a star on the other side of our sun could be seen because of gravity or sumtin cant remeber =P

Re: Micro-Drive laser driver *NOW ADJUSTABLE* lol well i solderd the LD to far away from the driver and i thought i had clearence but i underestemated it, o well lesson learned >< i actualy drilled out the back of an extra houseing so i can see it while im putting it on nextime.

good enough for me =P just a pipe dream hehe (could emagen a gigantic array of smaller lasers put together to put a hole in the side of a house )

this machine isnt free as in input energy = input + energy, but what it did was somting like pick up energy in the air and converts it into energy i think.

iv seen this on mythbusters or somting, i remeber they did get free energy but it was just barily enought to power a watch

i was watching tv and saw how plasma can be effected by magnets, n it got me thinking. are lasers effected in anyway by magnets? i thought if it was u could use them to compress multiple beams togther for a more powerful laser? im no physisit and im not taking phycics for a while (my english...

my first laser is almost done but im using a Sportsman .5 Watt Aluminum LED Flashlight made by raovac (about 8bucks) i replaced the 3 triple a batterys with 2 3v energizer lithiums. still waiting for a module p.s took 3 trys and 3 diodes to finaly make one work :P. hope to make a bluray one...

does the location of the switch matter? im working on my first laser and i would like to know. on the ddl driver post it says to put it between the lm317 and the +terminal

this is my first laser project and well i messed up my first 2 LDs from my first 2 dvd burners, but now out of bordem i took apart my old samsung dvd player and got the LD out of that but iv never seen a 4 pronged LD b4 and cant find any information on it any help would be nice.
