I have no means to test it other than by eye; however, I have not noticed any brightness deviations. I kept it on for a minute running next to my True 30mW and the dot stayed just as bright the whole time.

I love mine. Definitely worth getting over a True 30mW (which I also have). I might write a review on mine, with a few more pics, when I have the time. I've gotta put one up on DX for da points so I might as well make a vid and post it here too.

So what's the difference between the first laser and the second? Were they both advertised as NewWish? Or is only the second one NewWish? Did you get either of them from DX? The one you got from DX... did it have the wires leading to what you thought was an IR filter?

Yes but that site only carries the Executive sized cases. I need the Evolution sized one.

A few of the reviewers said that the black paint on the Rominsen isn't anodized and therefore chipped off a bit. I'm OCD about that kind of thing, so that was a major turn off from my purchase. If you're fine with that, then go for it.

Ya I cube too. I'm not that fast; personal record = 2 minutes 1 second. But it's fun, especially doing finger tricks with a DIY cube.
