Oh shit! I just killed my 16X DVD burner laser diode by connecting 4 AA batteries!!! I spent $4 to buy it :'( :'( :'( :'(

I think the line is light leakage at the junction of the diode.

The laser must cut your pet into half if you have one!! :o :o :o
