    Ultimate Aixiz Heatsink

It gets no better than this. Machined and mirror finished from T-6 grade Aerospace Aluminium. I added some cooling fins to increase the surface area and aid cooling. The bore is a very snug "Transition" fit , so the Aixiz module can easily be pressed out again, should I need to swap out. I made...

I did some Machining of heatsinks for him about a year ago and in return he only goes and sends me a parcel of 5 of his new diodes and 5 Aixiz Housings to mount them in. I...

Well here is a novel one for you and one you may not have seen before. I was messing about with a crystal glass and my multiline Argon trying to make some stuff fluoresce. I shined it at the thickest part of the stem and to my amazement the laser looped 360 degrees and exited on the opposite...

    Argon ion laser

I have been lucky enough to borrow a friends Argon. It is multi line and apparantly rated at 80mw, however i believe it to be closer to 20mw. It is a 162A from Spectra Physics. The colour is very exotic as the 488nm line is very strong from this tube. With a diffraction grating or a prism, the...
