    blu-ray PS3 arrived..but some problems!

I have already linked the diode to a simple driver with LM317 which delivers 45 mA...so about 16 mW I suppose. The diode works, the light is very nice(first time I see it)and at night you can see a "moonlight" colored beam! (and is quite hot to the skin) The real problem is the collimation: I...

    Some videos of my lasers

140 mW 808 nm from aixiz laser: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDOUPBHk1c8 Nitrogen TEA laser, 1 Hz pulsed(note that the camera frames often skip some pulse): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-2rp60mXi8 Nd:YAG laser, 1 joule (not measured)...

who knows BRIR laser diode from ebay?

I can't post the link, but on ebay are listed several laser diodes, called BRIR(blue, red, infrared) at very low price. I'm almost sure that this kind of diode come from PS3, and it is composed by 3 laser: blue, red and infrared(so the driver can read cd, dvd, bluray disc). Does anyone know...

    Hello! I'm new

Hi everyone, I'm from Italy, my name is Lorenzo. I'm studying chemistry at university, but I love laser too 8-) In particular I prefer to build laser myself(when it is possible of course!). Now I've built : - green DPSS laser - Nd:YAG laser , portable! ;) - Nitrogen TEA laser - Red laser...
