    Weird dot shape

    My lasers been sitting for about a month and the dot was fine before. Now the dots all messed up even when it's focused. Anyone know what this is?

    Need some opinions for a build

    I'm looking to build a 405nm laser with the 16x diode pretty soon but I'm not sure what lens is best. I know the difference between the G2 and the 3 element lens but I just can decide on one. I'd like your opinions because I'm finding both lenses being used for this diode.

    Long overdue intro

    I've been lurking on this forum for like a year now but kinda forgot to announce my presence. I now realize that's probably why some of my questions weren't taken seriously. I found out about lasers from StyroPyro's YouTube channel and am now regularly saving up for new laser builds.

    Oclaro 700 battery direction help

    So I just build my first laser with a Oclaro 700 diode and I just realized I don't know how to figure out which way the battery's would go if you build your own laser. Is their some rule I can follow? Can seem to find any info about this.

    Confused about laser diode drivers

    I'm confused on if certain diodes need certain drivers since I heard that red diodes need a soft start driver. So I would like to know for future reference what diodes can I just use a plain driver that comes with Survival Lasers host assemblys and what diodes need a special driver?
