If I was measuring how strong my laser (445nm 1000mW) is after I shine it through say, water geliten, oil, coke, sprite, and ice. And all the power levels are different, Is there any science behind laser absorption? And how would I put the liquid in without it reflecting off the glass? Thanks

if I was trying to test which liquid takes away the most power from a 1w 445 blue laser (sort of like the artic except i made it), could I put the liquid in a glass? Or would that reflect?
