    Good deal on a 1000mW+ DPSS Argon diode?

    I found a 1000mW+ DPSS Argon diode on the internet and I'm wondering if anything under $100 is a good deal? I believe it's the diode that is in the more expensive 445nm lasers and not a cheapie like the Casio diode? Not sure though, I'm a noob, but I'm planning on spending about $250 on a good...

    I'm considering buying a 3W Infrared laser and fitting it in a head strap where a normal flashlight would be held. I'm wondering what type of viewing apparatus you all recommend that would fit like goggles (or glasses?). I know I could look through a camera and in front of me would be bright...
