In the post "A guide to buying your first green laser" it says "...50mW has a very visable green line at night, and anything above starts to get hard to look at/down." What does that mean exactly? What will a 100mw laser look like?

Hey ive had some 5mw cheap lasers in the past but am now wanting a more powerful laser. I want the beam visible, pop balloons, light matches, and burn black plastic. How powerful should I buy? would 100mw be enough? Ive done a little looking around and found o-like. Are they a good company...
