I have heard that lasers are used in communications engineering, but how does that work and where are the lasers exactly, in which gadgetry and why they are there?

Hi, at the moment my Computer work.. :) So i will tell you a little bit about it, one week ago i cleanup everything on the hard disk, including Windows Xp, after that i install it again and it works not so good. Now i download the "partition manager" i click install, it must be started again...

Has someone buy some safety glasses from this shop? Are they good ? They seems very cheap opposite to other shops.

1. I have read the good tutorial form Daedal there is a driver for a red laser and he say that it´s for diodes between 3 and 5 volt, but my diode has a operating voltage about 2,2- 2,6 volt is that a reason to change the resistor or do something else?? 2. How important is the heat sink ?

Have somebody build a He-Ne Laser on himself ? Does that work ? Or do you buy your Lasers ? :-?
