    Using transformers in series for power source?

    Hello, Im trying out a circuit to control a stepper motor through the parallel port. its not working, and my guess is that i dont have enough voltage for the darlington driver.     blinding little creatures.

    i was wondering if a 50 mW would temporarily/permanently blind flys or moths... what about birds? edit: and the reason im asking is so that i dont have to try it myself, so dont start flaming!
