i just bought the mohgasm driver and i was wondering how i connect this thing to my laser im aware of the LD+ and the LD- but what goes in the GND and VIN GND is the case pin? and VIN in the positive battery?

i just finished my 445nm, its so weak i used a lm317 driver with a 1 ohm 2 watt resistor i dunno whats going on the laser is weaker than my phr 803t thats all i can say, seems like a 5mW or something p.s im using 2x10440 (8.0V cuz not fully charged), maybe there not enough but ima just wait...

So basically i was wondering..... I recently i figured out a resistor must be able to withstand 1W of power. Also i realised my 1n4001 diode only withstands 1w and i plan on using a 1 ohm resistor giving a 1.25A max current. Would it be better to use the 1n4001 or to not use it at all.

im gonna build my 445nm soon as soon as all my parts deliver so if that was in a mohrenburg's host, would that be how i hook up my stuff

so i just bought the dtr mohrenberg blue flashlight and i plan on using 2x16340 will it be enough? cause everyone's saying 3x10440 will not be enough for a 445nm cause of the low capacity so will 2x16340 work? i believe the host only has room for a 18650, so its either 2x16340 or 2x18350, but...

i found this cheap host on ebay for 3 bucks =] it is very sturdy and the way it is built seems similar to an mxdl i m not sure about the size comparison to the mxdl but it is pretty good for 3 bucks if anyones interested ill look for the link in a bit

i was wondering, since i dont have heat shrink tubing how do i prevent the pins of the laser diode from snapping off the diode can i use hot glue gun? or will the glue like over heat the diode
