my x65 has some poor alignment. the laser itself works fine but the projected beam is at quite a noticable angle to the body of the laser. is this common?

what is the trade off between burning power and battery life of the X65 and the X85 (if there is any). im planning on buying an x series laser soon and i just want to know the practicality of the extra 20 mW
