    testing diode with mutimeter

Is it possible to test a ld with the diode test function of a multimeter? If so, can a video or steps be put up as to how to do it?

    DDl circuit 2x10 ohms resistors

why do we need 2 ten ohm resistors when we already have a 100 ohm resistor

video on about how pots and voltage dividers work.

hey everyone this is my first dedication to this site.  ::) the link is for a video (WHICH IS NOT MADE BY ME) for newbies on about pots and voltage dividers(like the lm317t).This helped me understand why the ref voltage was 1.25volts and how these things work...

    reference voltage

ONe more annoying question ;) ....... What the hell is ref voltage and why should it always be 1.25 ? thanks.

Why solder two of the pots pins together?

Why solder either the left or right pins of a pots pins to the middle pin together? whats the reason for this? and what are the different pins for -my guess is that the one on the right is voltage out and the one on the right is voltage in.that leaves the middle pin.y do we solder it to either...

    A voltage regulator's workins (help!)

:-? hi all. i hav a question bout the lm317t used in daedal's circuit.the pin on the righ is the one to which voltage goes in , right? and the one in the middle out...and the one on the right is.....well i dont know which is why im askin.wat does this adj do ? if i am 2 use this in another...

    all sorts of questions

can any one if possible make a video on how to test the current and voltage required for a diode with out test load and how many resistors will be required. and can somenoe tell me why it is needed to regulate voltage(i thought only current) .and why we use a pot which is a resistor when we...
